Looking to elevate your audit career? Our client, a dynamic CPA firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Audit Senior to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse engagements while mentoring staff and collaborating with senior management.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage audit engagements for clients across various industries
Plan, execute, and review audit procedures in accordance with GAAP and firm standards
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing feedback and guidance
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management
Support special projects, internal controls testing, and financial statement analysis
Qualifications: CPA license preferred (or actively pursuing) 3–5 years of public accounting/audit experience
Strong understanding of GAAP, auditing standards, and internal controls
Experience with audit software such as CaseWare, CCH Engagement, or similar
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
